Before Maryland: Played midfield for Mukwonago High School, which went to the state quarterfinals in 1995, the state semifinals in 1997 and '98, and was the Division I state runner-up in 1998 … served as a captain his final two years, and held high school records for single season goals (34), career goals (76), and career points (200) … Falk was his high school's MVP for the 1997-98 and 1998-99 school years … an all-conference pick his final three years at Mukwonago, he was also an all-area selection in 1997 and '98, as well as being all-state in 1997 … a member of the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program team from 1994-99.
