Fall 2002: Strong fall campaign included a scoring average of 72.2, a pair of top 10 finishes and five sub-par scoring rounds … team scoring leader in two of the Terps’ final three tournaments, including a tie for third at the Baylor Invitational and a tie for fifth at The McLaughlin … tied the Maryland single-round record with a 65 at the James Madison Invitational, helping the Terps to a third-place finish … posted four rounds in the 60s during the fall.
Spring 2002: Had a 75.05 spring scoring average to finish third on the team … had a pair of top 25 finishes – tied for 10th at the Rutherford Intercollegiate and tied for 23rd at the ACC Championships (including a four-under 68 in the second round).
Fall 2001: Placed in the top five of three tournaments – second at the JMU Invitational with a six-under-par (68-68—136), third at the Tillinghast Intercollegiate with a one-over par (70-71—141) and fifth at the Temple Invitational with a three-over-par (74-71—145) … his team-low finish at the Temple Invitational led the Terps to their only team victory of the season … tied for first on the team with Corey Brigham with a 71.73 stroke average … had two season-low rounds of three-under-par 68, both at the JMU Invitational, helping the Terps to a third-place finish.
2001: Competed in each of the Terps’ five tournaments … turned in two season-best rounds of 69, including one at the Furman Intercollegiate where he finished at two-under-par (69-72-73—214), good for fourth place individually, and helped Maryland to a sixth-place finish … the other round of 69 came in the second round of the Wofford Invitational, where he finished at seven-over-par and the team placed third overall … his 73.4 scoring average was second on the team, two-tenths of a point behind Corey Brigham … led the Terps with five even-par rounds, including two each at the ASU Invitational and the ACC Championships … finished first on the team and 22nd overall at the ACC Championships at four-over-par (76-72—72).
Fall 2000: Terps’ top golfer during the fall season, competing at all six tournaments and notching four top-10 finishes … finished tied for fifth (73-72—145) at the Old Dominion/Seascape Collegiate … finished in a tie for seventh (74-70—144) at the Virginia Commonwealth Fall Preview … finished tied for eighth (81-70—151) at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational, helping Maryland to a third-place finish … placed ninth (74-35—109) at the rain-shortened G. Gunby Jordan Intercollegiate, leading Maryland to a fifth-place finish … had the Terps’ top stroke average of 74.67.
2000: Finished tied for 30th (75-77-75—227) to help lead Maryland to a first-place finish at the Wofford Invitational … finished in a tie for 31st (74-76-76—226) at the ACC Championships … finished tied for 31st place (73-74—147) at the Pepsi Intercollegiate.
Fall 1999: Won the Chattanooga Intercollegiate (70-69-69—208) as Maryland also took home the team championship as well… finished five-under-par for the tournament… shot sub-par rounds on all three days … matched his own low score of the tournament with a 69 in the final round to hold off Morehead State’s Ben Hensley … started for the Terps in his first collegiate tournament at the G. Gunby Jordan Intercollegiate at the Calloway Gardens Resort, home of the PGA Tour’s Buick Challenge … tied for 56th (80-75-77—232) … team finished sixth of 14 schools.
Before Maryland: State runner-up in Ohio in 1998 … first-team all-state selection … shot a career-low round of 65 on 16th birthday.
