2005 CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all seven meets came in 22nd overall at the Great Meadows Invitational placed 45th with a time of 18:34.0 at the Great American Cross Country Festival... ran to 59th-place finish at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational... came in 67th at the ACC Championship meet with a mark of 21:45.0.

2005 OUTDOOR TRACK - Had the team's top-five finishes in the 3,000-meter steeplechase... season-best time of 11:02.61 earned first place at Navy Invitational and broke her own school record... also first at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, finishing in 11:05.3... ran 11:03.51 at the ACC Championships to finish eighth.

2005 INDOOR TRACK - Ran 3:09.39 in the 1,000 meters to finish fourth at the Virginia Tech Invitational... finished fourth in the mile at the Maryland Invitational at 5:14.53... season-best of 10:16.41 in the 3,000 meters placed her 26th at the ACC Championships... finished the 5,000 meters in 18:13.18 at the Penn State National Open to finish 23rd.

2004 CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all seven of the team's races, posting her best finishes at the ACC Pre-Meet (eighth) and the JMU Invitational (10th)... ran a 19:26.76 to finish 17th overall at the Mount St. Mary's Duals... finished fourth on the team and 81st overall at the ECAC Championships, running a 19:54 (5k).

2004 OUTDOOR TRACK - Ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase and posted the team's top three times of the season, including the school record of 11:22.36... finished third at both the Patriot Invitational (11:22.36) and Terrapin Invitational (11:56.03)... ran 11:32.47 to finish 16th at the ACC Championships.

2003 OUTDOOR TRACK - Ran in the 800, 1,500 and 3,000-meter steeplechase... second at the Maryland Invitational in the steeplechase... broke the school record for the steeplechase at the Patriot Open with a time of 11:33.60, nearly 45 seconds faster than the previous program record.

2003 INDOOR TRACK - Competed in four meets... placed eighth in the mile at the Terrapin and Maryland (II) invitationals... ninth in the mile and sixth in the 3,000-meter run at the Delaware Invitational.

BEFORE MARYLAND - Won four varsity letters in cross country at North Hunterdon HS in Annandale, N.J.... in 2000, her team became the Group III State Champions... part of the 2001 Central Jersey Sectional Champion team... captain her senior year and was MVP...awarded Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award... class historian for two years... student representative for four years... member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL - Daughter of Gayle and Gary Gorga... has one sister, Amy... majoring in marketing... chose Maryland over James Madison, Rutgers, Bloomsburg and Columbia... enjoys going to the beach, spending time outside and visiting family.
