As a Junior (2015): Made 11 appearances (8.1 IP) with a 6.48 ERA…tossed two innings and struck out five against Richmond (3/11)…struck out two in an inning pitched against Princeton (3/16)…tossed a scoreless frame at Elon (3/18)…threw a scoreless inning against Michigan (3/28)…tossed a pair of scoreless frames over two games against Indiana (5/2-3).

As a Sophomore (2014): Made four starts and 19 appearances in 2014… pitched 29-1/3 innings and posted a 6.83 ERA and a 1-2 record … struck out 31 batters earned his first career win as a starter by striking out five and allowing only one earned run against Bryant (2/23) ... struck out a career-high 10 to get his second win of the season against UMass (3/2) ... worked a perfect inning of relief against UMBC (3/19) with two strikeouts ... pitched 1-1/3 innings of scoreless relief with one strikeout against Liberty (4/2) ... struck out six batters in two innings of relief at George Mason (4/8) including four strikeouts in the seventh inning ... pitched a perfect inning of relief in the series finale against Georgia Tech (4/20) ... pitches an inning of scoreless relief in game two of a doubleheader at BC (4/25) ... entered with the bases loaded at BC (4/27) and held the Eagles scoreless retiring three straight ... pitched a scoreless inning of relief at VCU (5/6) ... appeared in relief against UNC (5/24) at the ACCT and struck out two in two innings of work.

As a Freshman (2013): Made 23 appearances in relief, the second-highest total on the team … posted a 5.92 ERA and a 2-2 record with 33 strikeouts over 24-1/3 innings pitched … ranked third on the team by striking out 15 batters looking … made his collegiate debut at LSU (2/17) … pitched three scoreless innings with three strikeouts allowing only one hit against Florida State (3/17) … struck out two hitters in one inning of relief against Rider (4/3) … earned his first career win at VCU (4/16) after pitching two perfect innings with two Ks … struck out all three batters in an inning of work in the final game of a three-game set against Virginia Tech (4/21) … totaled his second win of the season in game three against Boston College (5/18) with two strikeouts in one inning of work.

Before Maryland: A four-year letterwinner at Twin Valley high school...helped the Raiders to the district and state playoffs all four years...ranked No. 4 overall in Pennsylvania and No. 138 nationally by Perfect Game...named to the All-Berks team as a junior after going 9-1 with a 2.55 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 71 1/3 innings...also played infield and hit .344 with 16 stolen bases...went 4-0 in the postseason for Twin Valley in 2011...pitched in the 2011 USA Baseball Tournament of invitee to the East Coast Pro Showcase and Area Code Games.

Personal: Jared Austin Price...son of Gerald and Sally Price...has two siblings, one brother, JP, and one sister, Justine...earned honors and/or distinguished honors all four years at Twin Valley...also graduated with honors...was named spring athlete of the year as a senior...favorite sports hero is Justin Verlander...was also recruited by Virginia...selected by the New York Mets in the 2012 MLB Draft.
