BEFORE MARYLAND: Spent one season at Trinity College (Conn.) where he played point guard for head coach Jamie Cosgrove... named the MVP of the Trinity College Tournament and UMass Boston Tournament... a three-year letterwinner, two-year starter and two-year captain at River Hill High School.
PERSONAL: Parents are Kolandavel and Santhini Ramasamy... Has a sister, Anita, who graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins... Graduated from River Hill High School in 2010 with a 4.56 GPA... Says his craziest ambition is to play on the Indian National Team... Majoring in neurobiology and physiology, currently holding a 3.99 GPA.
