COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The Maryland women's lacrosse team had another strong performance this past weekend in fall ball action at the Georgetown Tournament. The Terps beat both George Mason and Georgetown and were able to get playing time for the entire squad before the day ended. Head coach Cindy Timchal continued to be happy with the team's early performance, as the Terps prepare to defend their national title.
Maryland squares off against Virginia on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at the practice facility on the Maryland campus. They follow their date with the Cavaliers by heading to George Mason Saturday.
