COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The Maryland Terrapin women's lacrosse team, the six-time defending national champions, continued their nontraditional season against five opponents last week. The Terps defeated everyone they faced during week three of fall ball, including ACC rival Virginia on Tuesday. Maryland continued to play strong, organized, dominating lacrosse throughout the week and beat all four opponents they faced at the George Mason Tournament, as well. At GMU, Maryland played the Canadian National Team, Hofstra, William & Mary and Syracuse. Maryland hosts the Maryland Cup on Sunday, October 29. The tournament will feature George Mason, Delaware and a team from women'slacrosse.com and will also mark the end of Maryland's nontraditional fall season.
