COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Senior Sarah Mollison and sophomore Katie Schwarzmann have both been named finalists for the 2011 Honda Sports Award.

Mollison, Maryland's fifth consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, led the Terps in points with 101. The Melbourne, Australia, native tallied a point in 67 straight games and was one of only two active players to boast 100 career goals and 100 career assists in 2011.

Schwarzmann is the lone sophomore named to the list. Tabbed the national midfielder of the year by both Synapse Sports and Womenslax.com, Schwarzmann was an integral part of Maryland's midfield. She wreaked havoc offensively with a team-best 63 goals and also helped aid the nation's best defense which gave up an average of 6.78 goals per game.

Former Terp standout Caitlyn McFadden was the 2010 Honda Sports Award winner, a recognition that is handed out annually to the top woman collegiate athlete in each sport.

The duo is joined by Shannon Smith (Northwestern) and Grace Gavin (Loyola) as the four finalists for this season's award.
