Schwarzmann and McPartland will join former Tewaaraton winner and current assistant coach Caitlyn McFadden on the squad as they train with Team USA in preparation for the July 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup in Oshawa, Ontario.
Maryland is the only program to have two current players on the roster. McPartland is the youngest player on the squad.
The 2012 Tewaaraton award winner, Schwarzmann scored in every game as a junior, leading the Terps with 72 goals. She was second on the team in ground balls (31), draw controls (52) and caused turnovers (17).
McPartland was an IWLCA Second Team All-South Region selection as a rookie last season while starting all 23 games for Maryland. A sophomore midfielder, she helped the U-19 team win gold at the 2011 FIL World Cup.
The reigning world champion U.S. women's national team, which defeated Australia to win the 2009 World Cup, will announce a final 18-player roster for the 2013 World Cup in early February.
