COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapins wrestling team travelled to Westminster, Md. Sat, Jan. 25 to take on the McDaniel Green Terror and turned the trip into the strongest offensive output of the season.
Matt Pandullo at 125 pounds, John-Henry Zarzycki at 141 pounds, Adam James at 149 pounds, and Jake Stork at 184 pounds all scored pin falls for the Terps who pushed their dual meet record to 4-3 on the season. Stork's 21st pin of the season on Levi McVey further strengthened his lead nationally in pin falls in the 184-pound weight class.
Joining in the points parade was Jason Kiessling who scored a major decision by the score of 10-0 in the 157-pound weight class, Patrick Cissne who also scored a major decison, his by a score of 17-4 at 174 pounds, and Sal Aquia who defeated Adam Dayton 15-7 for the Terps third major decision of the day.
With the score already 42-4, senior Eric Fehnel rounded out the day with a 7-5 victory over Drew Reinecker.
The Terps 45 points were almost as many as they had scored in their past two dual meets, and the most in at least two years.
The Terps are poised to continue this hot streak next with a visit to Rutgers Wed. Jan. 29th.
