It was a relatively quiet week by Maryland standards for Terps in the Pros, but many of our football alums look primed to make considerable postseason runs.
Sean Davis and Darrius Heyward-Bey are on the first place AFC North Pittsburgh Steelers, Yannick Ngakoue is on the first place AFC South Jacksonville Jaguars, Torrey Smith is on the first place NFC East Philadelphia Eagles, Stefon Diggs is on the NFC North Minnesota Vikings and Trey Edmunds and Dexter McDougle are on the first place NFC South New Orleans Saints.
Diggs posted two catches for 32 yards. In a defensive battle, the Vikings increased their winning streak to eight, beating the Falcons 14-9. Diggs wore special cleats in the game to show support for the American Heart Association, before visiting the local children's hospital.
Sean Davis finished with seven tackles in the Steelers' comeback win over the Bengals, 23-20.
Ngakoue racked up two tackles and applied pressure on the Colts' Jacoby Brissett throughout the game in the Jaguars 30-10 victory. The Jags have now won six of their last eight games. Ngakoue is making a very strong case to be in the Pro bowl this year- make sure you give him your vote!
Smith caught five passes for a total of 29 yards in the Eagles loss to the Seahawks 24-10. Smith and the Eagles are spending the week on the West Coast in preparation for their game against the Rams, and spent their off day volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
Vernon Davis ended up with two catches for 15 yards, as the Redskins lost to the Cowboys 38-14.
