Eric Rhodes joined the University of Maryland during the summer of 2016 as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and is responsible for Men's Lacrosse, Track and Field, Cross Country and Women's Tennis
Before arriving in College Park, Eric was the Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Northern Arizona University. Eric was in charge of training Men’s Basketball, Track and Field Jumpers and Men’s Tennis During his time at Northern Arizona University, Eric also earned his Masters of Education.
Before Northern Arizona University, Eric was a Junior Assistant Affiliate Coach at James Madison University under the guidance of Coach Greg Werner, Dr. Christian Carter and Coach Nick Gounaris. Eric interacted with all of the Olympic sports while he was there, working with primarily Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Cheerleading.Eric received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Shenandoah University. Eric also played baseball all four years. During his senior year, Eric was the team’s Strength and Conditioning Coach. Eric is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) and Functional Movement Screening level 2 (FMS-2).
