Drew Ossakow joined the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund staff as a Director of Development in March of 2016. Drew’s responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects and donors. Drew serves as the fundraising liaison to Women’s Cross Country & Track, Men’s Track, and Softball.
Prior to Maryland, Drew was the Associate Director of the Bobcat Club for Ohio University. In his role he managed the annual fund which saw revenue dollar records each year that he was on staff. In addition to his annual fund duties, Drew was involved with athletics initiatives as a part of the university-wide Promise Lives capital campaign. This included planning, fundraising, and stewardship for the Walter Fieldhouse ($11.1M), Men’s Basketball Locker Room renovation ($325k), Football Locker Room renovation ($225k), and the Perry and Sandy Sook Academic Center ($6M). Drew also served as a graduate assistant and was hired on as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving prior to being promoted to his most recent position at Ohio.
Previous to Ohio he worked at Indiana University as a Development Intern in the Varsity Club. Additionally, he served as a Marketing Coordinator within Arizona State University’s athletics department.
A three-time letterwinner on the men’s swim team at Indiana University, Drew graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Kelley School of Business. He also earned his master’s in business administration and sports administration from Ohio University. Drew is a member of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD). A native of Canton, OH, Drew resides in Washington, DC.
