As a Redshirt Freshman (2015-16): Compiled solid first season in Division I competition as a transfer…finished with a team-high 18 victories…third on the team in falls (7)…won Franklin & Marshall Open title…wrestled primarily at 149 pounds…finished 4-2 at Nittany Lion Open with two wins by fall and two by technical fall (12/6)…went 5-0 at the Franklin & Marshall Open, posting two pins and a major decision en route to the 149-pound crown…also finished undefeated at Shorty Hitchcock Open with four straight wins (1/16)…opened tournament with tech fall over Chris Schoenherr (Finger Lakes) before posting three consecutive decision victories (1/16)…made dual match debut against Rutgers (1/29)…took third at Messiah Open, finishing 4-1 overall with three pins and a technical fall (2/6)…secured win at National Collegiate Open (3/5).
