As a Junior in 2016: Started vs. William & Mary (2/14) ...notched two saves and two ground balls vs. Rutgers (5/6) ... recorded one ground ball and one save ... also saw time vs. Georgetown (2/20), Hofstra (3/5) and James Madison (3/26) ... played 113:19 minutes ... held a 9.53 goals-against average and .250 save percentage.

As a Sophomore in 2015: Saw playing time in six games ... played 110:31 minutes ... held a 7.60 goals-against average and .391 save percentage ... made two saves against William & Mary (2/15) and James Madison (3/21) ... made three saves and picked up a ground ball against Michigan (4/18).

As a Freshman in 2014: Provided the Terps with three big time saves down the stretch in a win against Boston College (3/29)…saw action in eight games…made 19 saves while allowing 20 goals 

Before Maryland: Excelled in lacrosse and soccer at Foothill...captained both teams her senior year... a first team all-league and all-county pick in 2011, 2012, and 2013... named her team's defensive player of the year in 2012... tabbed to WDNT team in 2011 and 2012... a member of the Under Armour Underclassman team in 2011, 2012... named to ESPN Class of 2013 Watchlist... named Impact/MVP in 2011...represented the North team in the Under Armour Classic...played club lacrosse for West Coast Starz.

Personal: Full name is Emily Anne Kift... daughter of Bill and Sarah Kift... brother, Bryan Kift, plays club lacrosse at UCLA...honor roll and scholar athlete all four years in high school... aspires to be a collegiate lacrosse coach after graduation...biggest sports thrill was beating her high school's rival, which ended their 52-game winning streak... undecided on major.
